Owner Statement
Although the dent we make in the cruel world of animal abuse and neglect is only a small one, the reward of helping just one of God’s creatures to have a full and happy life presents a reward which is beyond measure.
Our Foundation
On Christmas Eve 1989 a sick and unwanted dog appeared at my door step. Snuggles was sick, bleeding from several orifices and lethargic. Seven hundred dollars later she recovered and lived with me until spring of 2007. She was 22 years old and provided for me many great years of companionship. Throughout the following years dogs and cats, unwanted or ill would appear in boxes, cages or tied to a rope and secured to my front door handle. Their needs would be seen to and those whom we could not find homes for stayed with us. And so, from this rather inauspicious beginning, Jim Keefer’s All God’s Creatures was developed as a sanctuary for the chronically sick, the abused, or just very old animals who needed a place to live out their life with dignity and without the fear of euthanasia or abuse.
